I enjoyed Virginia Wilkinson's memories of her experience of graduating from Western High School in 1938.  I do remember attending some of the same classes at Western, probaably English with  Dr. McPherson and also with Mrs. Scott.  I especially enjoyed the Music Dept. with Mrs. Sanders and the musical production, in Dec. 1937,"Up in the Air.  I took four years of Latin with Miss Duncan plus four years of Math with Miss Worthley.  With my friend, Natalie Gammon and Phyllis Demond , we joined the Chess Club and I was elected vice-president a "dubious honor".  It was fun and I felt I received a good education.  Later I graduated from Wilson Teachers College and became a teacher for 20 years.  I married John E. Hilton, from Michigan and we were married in Washington, D.C. on Dec. 21, l941.  We moved to Michigan, had four lovely children. and now 6 grandchildren and 4 great'grandchildren. Having retired from teaching after 20 years. I too will turn 87 in April and hope to continue living in my home, as my husband passed away in 2003 and my son last October.

Most sincerely, Margaret Stanfield Hilton' 700 Franklin St. North Muskegon, Mi. 49445
